Isolator

Increase efficiency and reduce risk by completing isolation, verification and restoration of plant in the field with Isolator. The app accesses the SageSURPASS system and allows users to verify, using their iPhone or iPad, that they are at the correct isolation point location and have the correct tag when isolating plant. This minimises the possibility of the incorrect plant item being isolated and protects plant from damage.

The time required to issue a permit is also reduced as the information is sent back wirelessly to SageSURPASS allowing immediate issue without waiting for the isolator to return to the permit office. Isolators and verifiers can also continue to work in the plant and complete other isolations without going back to the permit office in between actioning each isolation scheme.

Plant items and locks can be scanned via barcode using the in-built Apple camera barcode reader, RFID tag using an IDBlue RFID reader, or manually input using the on-screen keyboard. Tags can be either scanned via barcode or input manually.
