LiveQuartz is a graphic program that uses the quartz engine of Mac OS X. The program uses information directly from the functions of the operating system and is therefore very fast. LiveQuartz offers in addition to standard tools such as cut, scale, text and gradient tool also the Lasso tool and working with layers.

In addition to the various tools it includes a series of filters to all features of LiveQuartz. Supported file formats are PNG, JPEG, TIFF, PSD, GIF, etc.
