iText Express is a simple word processor for Mac OS X which can be compared regarding the functional scope with Bean. iText Express supports the basic word processing functions and allows you to read and edit RTF, TXT, HTML and MS Word documents.

In addition to the free iText Express there's the kostenpflichte iText Pro, which is a chargeable iText Pro with additional functions.
