Quicksilver

Quicksilver works much like Spotlight in Mac OS X Tiger. With a simple key combination you start Quicksilver and as soon as you start typing the first results are already displayed. This Quicksilver finds not only programs but also files, images, music and more.

With plugins Quicksilver can be expanded in functionality, so you can, for example, search for artists in your iTunes library with a simple key combination.
