XBMC - Media Center

XBMC (Xbox Media Center) is a media center program which can be used as an alternative of the Apple Front Row program. XBMC manages all media such as films, pictures, and music in their own library but also accesses resources like iPhoto, iTunes, network drives, etc.

XBMC works with Skins and Add-ons and can be expanded thus in appearance and functionality.

With the Apple Remote, XBMC can not only be controlled on a Mac but also on the Apple TV.
