MyFRITZ!App
About MyFRITZ!App
With the MyFRITZ!App and the MyFRITZ! service from AVM you have safe, convenient access to your FRITZ!Box from anywhere in the world.
The MyFRITZ!App makes it easier to access the MyFRITZ! interface of your FRITZ!Box by reading the MyFRITZ! address in the home network automatically and offering the option of saving your account data. This puts you always just a "touch" away from your FRITZ!Box, allowing you to install future firmware updates no matter where you are, so that you can benefit immediately from innovations and added features to the mobile websites of your FRITZ!Box.
Via MyFRITZ! you can reach the files saved in FRITZ!NAS, the list of recent calls, and voice messages on the answering machine, and you can control the Smart Home devices in your home network. Files downloaded from FRITZ!NAS are conveniently saved in a cache, where they can be opened using existing apps. Music and videos can be played either direct on the mobile device or by AirPlay to an external playback device.
To re-open downloaded files at a later point in time, open the cache via the settings. You can clear the cache as needed. If you would like to manage more than one FRITZ!Box, just add the additional FRITZ!Boxes to the settings. The next time you log in, select which FRITZ!Box you would like to access.
To set up MyFRITZ! on your FRITZ!Box, open the FRITZ!Box user interface (http://fritz.box), and then the "Internet / MyFRITZ!" menu and follow the instructions.
Then connect with the FRITZ!Box using your smartphone or tablet and open the MyFRITZ!App. Enter the login data for a FRITZ!Box user.
